Elbert County

The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids to lease a new backhoe. Specifications can be obtained by contacting Bobby Howell at 706-283-2000 or by e-mailing bhowell@elbertga.us.

The county will receive bids until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the following address: Elbert County Board of Commissioners, 45 Forest Avenue, Elberton, Georgia, 30635, ATTN: Bobby Howell. Bids will be opened at that time and all bids must be received at that address at or before that time to be considered. Bids must be sealed in an envelope and the words “sealed bid” must appear on the outside of the envelope. All bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlements (SAVE) program and the federal eVerify program.

Elbert County reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in conformity with these instructions, and the county reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or the anticipated purchase.
